Chai Tea Mini Biscuits
1 cup milk
3 chai tea bags (or equivalent loose leaf tea, which is what I have)
3 Tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup chilled butter, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Cook milk in a small non-aluminum saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring once, 2 to 3 minutes or just until bubbles appear (do not boil). Remove from heat. Add tea bags, cover, and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags from milk, squeezing gently.
Stir together granulated sugar, cinnamon, and flower in a large bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or a fork until crumbly. Add 3/4 cup milk mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are all moistened. Reserve remaining milk for later use.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly 4-5 times with floured hands. Pat dough into 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with 1 1/2 inch round cutter. Place rounds on greased cookie sheets (I just used my Silpat) and bake at 400 degrees for 6-7 minutes or until golden. Let stand 5 minutes.
TO FINISH: Whisk together unused milk mixture and powdered sugar until smooth (add more sugar if needed to get appropriate consistency). Drizzle over warm biscuits.I JUST MADE THESE!!!

Use this space to add whatever you want, or you can remove it altogether
