Chai Tea Mini Biscuits
1 cup milk3 chai tea bags (or equivalent loose leaf tea, which is what I have)3 Tbsp granulated sugar1/4 tsp ground cinnamon2 cups self-rising flour1/4 cup chilled butter, cut into small pieces1/2 cup powdered sugarCook milk in a small non-aluminum saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring once, 2 to 3 minutes or just until bubbles appear (do not boil). Remove from heat. Add tea bags, cover, and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags from milk, squeezing gently.Stir together granulated sugar, cinnamon, and flower in a large bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or a fork until crumbly. Add 3/4 cup milk mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are all moistened. Reserve remaining milk for later use.Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly 4-5 times with floured hands. Pat dough into 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with 1 1/2 inch round cutter. Place rounds on greased cookie sheets (I just used my Silpat) and bake at 400 degrees for 6-7 minutes or until golden. Let stand 5 minutes.TO FINISH: Whisk together unused milk mixture and powdered sugar until smooth (add more sugar if needed to get appropriate consistency). Drizzle over warm biscuits.

kinda mushy..but I should probably let them sit and cool off much more.
